Eric Gaulin is a passionate motorcyclist, sailor and leader with a history of academic and personal success. Growing up in Rye, New York, Eric Gaulin has founded a number of extra-curricular groups in high school and college. He has years of experience both personally and professionally in the motorcycle and sailing community. He is a recent graduate of Elon University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology with a Minor in International Studies.
During his youth, Gaulin attended Rye Country Day School in Rye, New York. During his Freshmen year, Gaulin played an integral role in the founding of the school’s wrestling team where he would go on to compete all four years, one of which he went undefeated. He also lettered four years in Crew and two years in tennis during his time at Rye. Gaulin would go onto Elon University after earning a 2100 combined SAT score in math, science, and writing.
While pursuing his degrees in Anthropology and International Studies, Gaulin was highly active in the sailing and motorcycle communities and involved in various clubs on campus. Gaulin was a founding member of both the racquetball and cooking club. He was also a member of the Bowling Club where he was semi-finalist in his final year. His extensive international travel has complemented his anthropology studies on communication across cultures.
Gaulin has been lucky to be able to work in the industries he loves. Gaulin grew up around the ocean and enjoys working on boats and on the water. During the summer after his Senior year in high school Gaulin captained a 25-foot motor launch at Indian Harbor Yacht Club, ferrying members to their boats day and night in various weather conditions. During college he also worked a summer at Tarrytown Boat and Yacht Club.
Most recently, Gaulin has been working in the industry of his greatest passion – motorcycles. In addition to being an avid motorcyclist himself, Gaulin does his own bike maintenance and did extensive anthropological research on “biker” culture during his time at Elon University. Gaulin worked as a product specialist at Empire Harley-Davidson in 2013 and as a Parts Specialist at Woodstock Harley-Davidson until late 2014. Both are in New York State.
Eric Gaulin’s international experience coupled with his experience in the motorcycle industry make him uniquely proficient working with clients of all backgrounds. In his free time Gaulin enjoys experimenting cooking a variety of ethnic cuisines.
